Admissions: Free Description: The Carolina Harmony Trail (formerly known as Shelby RAIL Trail) is a trail system that will include 0.2 miles of unused railroad corridor that runs through Shelby, Patterson Springs, and Earl. The Carolina Harmony Trail will be a premiere trail that walkers, runners, and bicyclists of all ages and fitness levels can easily enjoy for years to come. Admissions: Free Description: This self-guided walking tour in Shelby highlights historic structures dating back to the 1850's which includes Webbley, a national historic landmark and house of O. Max Gardner, a 1907 Classic Revival Courthouse which now houses the Earl Scruggs Center and much more. This trail also includes "Beyond the Square" locations including historical monuments that are not around the uptown Shelby square. Other Important Info: This trail is broken up by stops.
