Adults in NC who want to become licensed foster parents must complete the Model Approach to Partnerships in Parenting (MAPPs) course.
Starting Thursday, February 13th at the Cleveland County Health Department, the course will be from 6:00-9:00pm for 10 consecutive weeks.
This course is designed to inform participants about the child welfare system and foster process, and help families assess if fostering or adopting is the best fit for them.
